More About Us

What Information We Collect

We collect the following information:

Information You Give Us

  • Contact Details: Your name, phone number, email address, and company name if you book for work.
  • Trip Details: Route, dates, times, number of passengers, luggage, pets, catering, and any special requests.
  • Passenger Information: Full names, dates of birth, nationality, and passport or Emirates ID details for everyone on the flight.
  • Health or Accessibility Needs: Only if you tell us, and only so we can arrange the right support on board or on the ground.
  • Payment Information: Billing name, address, and bank details on your invoice.
  • Messages: What you write to us by email, WhatsApp, phone, or our website form.

Passport, ID, and health details are treated as sensitive personal data. We collect them only when a flight genuinely needs them, we share them only with the operator and the relevant authorities, and we protect them more tightly than ordinary data.

  • IP address and rough location, usually city level.

  • Pages you viewed, how long you stayed, and the link that brought you here.
  • Cookies identifiers, if you accept them.

This is aggregate information about how the site is used. We don’t use it to build a personal profile of you.

Information From Others

If someone else books your flight, such as an assistant, a family member or your employer, we receive your data from them. We rely on them having your permission to share those details. If you would like to know what we hold about you, just ask.

Cookies and Website Tracking

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. We use them for two things:

  1. Essential Cookies: These make the site work, remember your form entries, and keep it secure. These can’t be switched off.
  2. Analytics Cookies: We may use Google Analytics to see which pages people find useful. The data is aggregated.

Your Choices: You can accept or refuse non-essential cookies in our cookie banner, and change your mind at any time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site from working.

Who We Share Your Information With

We share only what is needed, only with people who need it, and only for the reasons below:

  • Aircraft Operators and Crew: Passenger names, ID details, and trip information, so they can legally operate your flight.
  • Airports, FBOs, and Ground Handling Agents: Arrival details and passenger numbers for handling, security, and transfers.
  • Government Authorities: Immigration, customs, and civil aviation regulators such as the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority, where the law requires passenger information.
  • Catering, Transport, and Concierge Suppliers: Only the details needed to fulfil your request.
  • Payment and Banking Providers: To process your payment or invoice.
  • Technology Providers: Our email, cloud storage, CRM, and website hosting providers, who store data on our behalf under contract.
  • Professional advisers: Our accountants, auditors, and lawyers, where necessary.

Everyone who processes data on our behalf is required by contract to protect it, use it only for our instructions, and delete it when the job is done. We may also disclose information if we are legally compelled to, for example by a court order, or if it is needed to protect someone’s safety.

Sending Information Outside the UAE

Private aviation is international, so your information sometimes travels with your trip. If your flight touches Europe, Asia, Africa or the Americas, the operator, handlers and authorities in those countries may receive passenger details. Some of our technology providers also store data on servers outside the UAE. When we transfer data abroad, we make sure there is a proper safeguard in place, such as an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses, or your explicit consent where required.

How Long We Keep Your Information

Type of information How long we keep it
Quote requests that did not become bookings Up to 24 months, then deleted
Flight and booking records 5 years after the trip, for aviation and audit purposes
Invoices and payment records 5 years, as UAE tax rules require
Passport and ID copies Deleted once the flight is complete and the record-keeping period for that flight has passed
Marketing consent records Until you unsubscribe, plus a short period to prove you consented
Website analytics data Up to 26 months

When a retention period ends, we delete the information securely or make it permanently anonymous.

How We Protect Your Information

  • Encrypted connections on our website and encrypted storage for documents.
  • Access limited to the team members who need it for your trip.
  • Password protection and two-factor authentication on our work accounts.
  • Passport and IDs shared through secure channels, not casual messaging where avoidable.
  • Regular reviews of who has access, and removal of access when someone leaves.

No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a data breach happens that puts your rights at risk, we will tell you and the relevant authority promptly, explain what happened, and tell you what to do next.

Your Privacy Rights

You have the right to:

  • Know what personal data we hold about you and why.
  • Get a copy of your data in a readable format.
  • Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
  • Delete your data, where we are not legally required to keep it.
  • Restrict how we use it while a concern is being sorted out.
  • Object to us using it for our legitimate interests.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, for anything you consented to.
  • Move your data to another provider, where technically possible.
  • Complain if you think we have handled your data badly.

How to Use Your Rights

Email info@privatejetrental.ae with the words “Privacy request” in the subject line, and tell us what you would like. We may ask you to confirm your identity, so we don’t hand your information to the wrong person. We will reply “within 30 days.” If your request is complicated and we need longer, we will tell you why before that deadline. Using your rights is free.

If you are not happy with our answer, tell us first, and we will try to put it right. You can also complain to the UAE Data Office, which oversees data protection in the UAE. If you are in the EU or UK, you may complain to your national data protection authority instead.

Which Laws Apply

We follow UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, known as the PDPL, along with UAE civil aviation and record-keeping rules. Where we handle information belonging to people in the European Union or the United Kingdom, we also apply the standards of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Marketing Emails

We only email offers to people who asked for them. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and one click is enough. Unsubscribing does not stop the practical messages about a trip you have actually booked, such as flight timings or handling details.

Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children directly. When a child travels on a flight we arrange, we receive their details from the adult booking the trip, and we use them only for that flight. If you believe we hold a child’s information that we should not, email us and we will delete it.
