Most very light jet charters leave from Al Maktoum International (DWC), open 24 hours with the Jetex and ExecuJet private terminals, or Al Bateen Executive Airport (AZI) in Abu Dhabi, which has no slot restrictions and is close to the city.

Sharjah International (SHJ) and Ras Al Khaimah International (RKT) suit clients in the northern Emirates. These two airports have lower ground charges.

At the other end, a very light jet gets you into smaller regional fields that airlines don’t serve, such as Duqm and Sohar in Oman, Al Ula in Saudi Arabia, and secondary airports around the Gulf.

What the Quote Includes

The headline price includes the aircraft and crew, fuel, soft drinks and a light catering tray, landing and handling at both airports, flight planning, permits, slot coordination, and the private terminal at departure and arrival.

Outside the headline price includes hot or chef-prepared catering, a car waiting on the ramp, crew held beyond the agreed departure time, pets, and any change you make to the plan on the day.

Safety and Operator Vetting

No aircraft reaches your inbox until Tomas Ghassemi and Jaser Davari have checked the paperwork behind it. That means a valid Air Operator certificate from the GCAA or the operator’s own regulator, current insurance, and crew who are recently flying the type, not simply rated on it.

Several of them are certified for a single pilot, and operators fly them that way to keep costs down. It is legal and common, but some clients prefer two pilots on the flight deck. Tell us your preference and we will filter the options accordingly.

Beyond that, we read the independent audit record, favour ARGUS, Wyvern, and IS-BAH accredited operators and refuse privately owned aircraft offered outside a commercial certificate.

When a Very Light Jet Is the Right Aircraft

Choose a very light jet when:

  • You are 4 to 6 people traveling with cabin-size bags rather than large suitcases.
  • Your flight is between 1 to 3 hours, which covers most of the Gulf, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan.
  • You want jet speed and a pressurized cabin, but the cost of a light jet is more than the trip justifies.
  • You need to leave today. Small jets are the easiest aircraft in the fleet to release at short notice.

Choose a turboprop when cost and luggage space are more important. Pick a very light jet when you want jet speed for a small ground, and a light jet when you have more people or a longer flight ahead.
