What Drives Your Final Price
The hourly rate is only part of the cost. Watch these five factors:
- Positioning (ferry) flights. If the jet is based in Riyadh and you fly from Dubai, you may pay for the empty flight to reach you. Asking for a UAE-based aircraft can save AED 20,000 or more.
- Round trip vs. two one-ways. For a same-day or next-day return, keeping the jet and crew waiting is usually cheaper than paying for two empty legs. For returns 4 or more days later, two one-ways often cost less.
- Crew overnight fees. These run about AED 2,500 to AED 5,000 per night for crew hotels and per diems.
- Airport and handling fees. Landing, parking, and FBO handling vary by airport and can add AED 3,000 to AED 15,000 per trip.
- Summer heat. From June to September, temperatures above 45 degrees Celsius reduce takeoff performance. On long legs, a midsize jet may have to carry less weight, which means fewer bags or one fewer passenger. Tell us your full headcount and luggage up front so we match the right aircraft.
